This is a small unassuming place in a strip plaza on Dundas. Normally I wouldn't chance it but I saw a neigbour recommend it. I like to support local and I heard the owner also lived in our building and had just opened as the lock down started. So, I ordered a pizza and WOW! The crust was amazing. Crispy, not just at the edges but right to the centre. The toppings were delicious. It was the perfect size. I was impressed. But maybe it was just a good night. So I went back again. Another great pizza. While I am a trained chef and caterer who has served thousands of meals I didn't want to depend solely on my own opinion so I got a couple of pizza and brought them over to a friend's house. She, an exceptional cook who was born in Italy, was blown away. She said the crust was amazing and that even the sauce was amazing. Do yourselves a favour and order a pizza or two or three!
We ordered lasagna and pizza for our family for new years eve. The lasagna was one of the best tasting I have ever tried, and truly reminded me of my trip to Italy, very authentic. My only comment was that it took longer than directed to make, but definitely worth the wait! Pizza was delicious and the sauce and dough set this place aside from the competition. The owner also took the time to answer me questions. You can see the pride behind the food and for good reason. We will definitely be coming back.
The honey on the Rona goes the extra mile. Unreal za. Do yourself a favour and get a caesar sauce for dipping. Great addition to Etobicoke pizza.
Had Capi's this evening for Dinner. Mike and his team were very friendly, even though it was a very busy Friday night with a lot of take out and skip the dishes orders. After trying their delicious pizzas, I completely understand why they were so busy. A hidden gem in Etobicoke. Fantastic authentic taste, loved the hot peppers that we ordered on the side, and excellent attention to detail. We will be back for sure... and soon! A must try!
Capi's came highly recommended so I had to make a stop across town and try the pizza. Yum! Decided to get a lasagna too and loved the quality and the old school authenticity. The lasagna makes a great Christmas gift or social/party dish (once we're out of COVID) because they can also sell them to you frozen to cook in your own oven at home. We just ordered 4 pizza's and they were really good. The crust was perfect! It's so wonderful to see this place under (new) ownership that knows how to make really good Italian pizza...our neighbourhood should rejoice.
