Deceitful; they promised me to put all covers of my comic book monthly issue on reserve and when I come to pick them up, they hide the one that is more valuable. I ask where is the \low print cover?\ The clerk pretends not to know anything about it. When I insist and he \finds it\ in some drawer, the price reflects its value which indicates that he is fully aware that is the low print cover. Been a loyal customer for many years. Can't believe the new ownership would treat me like that.

I'm from Ottawa and we were in Montreal for the weekend. My two boys are crazy about comics and pop culture and discovered that Capitaine Quebec was only a few blocks away from the hotel. What a treat it was. The selection was exhaustive and diversified. My kids kept asking odd questions and requested to see a bunch of random stuff. The guy who was there answered all their questions and was really helpful to find what they were looking for. He even gave a Mad magazine to my youngest when he found out he had never read one. This place is a treasure.

A There is no better Comic Book Shop in the Montreal region! I have bought many key back-issues from CQ and the grading and pricing is as good as it gets! Also, if you collect new comics, reach out to Rob and Alex to start a pull list. They are friendly, accommodating and always happy to help!

Fantastic store owned by a fantastic new owner, Alex, who took ownership in March, 2020. Alex loves comics and loves discussing them with the clientele. He has completely revamped the store and created a fun, clean, and welcoming environment for lovers of comics and other related hobbies. This store is incredibly well stocked and has something for everyone. And, if you can't find it in the store, just talk to Alex - he has access to a vast supply of great items. So, if you ever had a negative experience prior to March, 2020, give the store another shot - you will not regret it. This is the best store in town.
