I didn't try the restaurant, but decides to try their BBQ pork and soya chicken. We found our chicken very dry and the BBQ pork was very lean which made it really chewy. The flavor was ok, but not as good as other BBQ places near by. I would say this is on par with like a T&T but at a much higher price. I might try them again if we are in the neighborhood and wanted some BBQ pork but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

The food is good and the waitress is great. But the guy cutting food has a terrible attitude. He hate every one that walks in. I hope he will go see a psychiatrist and relieve some of his hatreds. Very obnoxious person indeed.

Excellent quality of BBQ pork. The trick is to know what to order - always ask for half fatty cuts or else you get dry lean pieces that will never be good no matter which Chinese butcher or restaurant you go to. On the pricey side but they are more stocked than other places so even if you go late they still have the bbq meats you want.

Good bbq pork. Know to order half lean and fat. Enjoy there's no line up.

Solid Chinese restaurant. In Richmond where there are no shortage of places to eat this one stood out for me. Usually when eating Chinese food I'm thirsty for hours from all the salt (and likely MSG) used. Even when asking for less, typically there's no difference. At Cantonese BBQ, all of our food came out hot and noticeably less glistening in oil. I was ecstatic as well when eating I wasn't finding myself needing to down water as the food was seasoned lightly, as people would when cooking at home. Prices were fair, portions are larger than some of the more upscale places we went to and everything tasted good. Service was good, one server for the whole restaurant but she worked her tail off and everything went well. The decor could use some updating but that's the only thing I could suggest as an improvement.
