The ice was great. But that has to be the coldest arena I have ever been in. I was frozen and our poor kiddos who were actually out there playing were frozen. The building is old and a bit run down. Being in a rural setting there must be some septic issues as parts of the change room/washroom area smelled of sewer gas.
Come teach your children how to skate in a historic arena. Public skating from noon till 2 Saturday and Sunday
Great spot for skating with the kids. Staff were pleasant to deal with.
So sad to see that the booth was not open due to funding. Every kid loves to step up to the counter for a treat.
