When I was just turning 19 , I was lost in life and as boys we had all gotten into trouble together.I saw my friends being steered down the wrong path and I was never very good at school so along with my father's suggestion I decided that I wanted to join the Guards because I really didn't know how to be a man and my father grew up without his own father being around so these guys totally helped me out.They're a really great bunch of guys and joining the Grenadier Guards is a hell of a lot better than being lost in life without any help.
