The Canadian Coast Guard establishment is located at the entry point of the Bamfield Inlet in the remote coastal town of Bamfield, BC, on Vancouver Island. It is very well maintained with a good infrastructure. They have their speed boats and emergency vessels parked nearby and on the ready.
