STOKED ON EARTH

They have always been extremely helpful. They are very good at what they do and have gone above and beyond to help me during the Covid restrictions. I have been there in time when Covid wasn't an issue and had other experiences which weren't so pleasant but they're just doing their jobs. The best most helpful border agents I've had the pleasure of dealing with are at the Aldergrove/Lynden Crossing.

I am a Canadian (Immigrated to Canada long time ago). It is interesting that every time I cross the border going to US, I am always being treated very nicely. They smile and welcome you to the US; but almost always when coming back home to Canada, the officers at the Canadian border are so angry looking, with a very poor manner and behaviour and never once I heard saying “Welcome home”. This is a shame for a country such as Canada.

Very good experience of this Border Service Office for our PR landing, in special the officer inside was very polite, very helpful and went the extra mile explaining afterwards what to expect.

These plugs do nothing to control and inhibit que jumpers, they have 2 lanes open during peak times, and I'm not seeing any evidence of their organization slowing down drug trafficking, not in Vancouver anyway. But they're government workers, so what was I really expecting?

I wonder if the Canadians are treated like Americans (including myself) as I was when they enter into our country? I thought we're suppose to be good neighbors and allies?! I wouldn't have known any better after this visit. First time returning to Canada in 50 years. I don't need another in my lifetime after this experience of criminal background checks, long wait for just a weekend visit. Vancouver was beautiful with many things to do but it's not worth the hassle at the border. My money spends anywhere in the world and everyone wants it, therefore it's better spent somewhere else.
