I definitely loved this place! Their cabins are amazing and super comfy! Make sure to bring warm blankets as it can get cold at night but that is the beauty of it... calm nights, you can enjoy the warmth of the firepit (they have the store where you can buy the wood) and its delivered to your cabin.. picnic table is the perfect size! Free pancakes on Sundays for breakfast which I think its amazing! Just a place to spend away from the city!

Its easily accessible. Very friendly staff especially when our water hose wasnt long enough. We borrowed one! Pool was warm and only i was in it. Lovely setting.

Was our first time and our stay was awesome. People there was very friendly and the stuff was amazing. Their public washroom was very clean. I heard issues from other people re:401 highway but I guess if you choose campsite farther a bit from the highway you should be fine. Other than that was great.Highly recommended!

First and foremost: THE NOISE FROM THE VERY ADJACENT 401 HIGHWAY IS RIDICULOUSLY LOUD AND PRESENT 24/7!! BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS _NOT_ A TRANQUIL AND RESTFUL KOA!!! We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin - well appointed, but cabins were far too close to each other, not spaced out like most KOAs. This KOA has the absolute gall to surcharge 30 if you bring pets! This is very unacceptable and a serious deal-breaker for future revisits. As this was a VKR "appreciation weekend", the Saturday night stay was complimentary -- had this not been the case, we'd leave early due to the 401 noise! Pancakes were served on Saturday morning - they were thick and delicious. The campground itself is well maintained, but many of the usual features/bathrooms were closed due to Covid-19. The KOA is large, yet, the trailers and cabins seem to be squeezed together. Bottom line... Due to the incessant adjacent highway noise, we will NOT be returning to this specific location.

Fantastic stay! Staff is happy, helpful, professional. The people are so friendly around the park. I love the dog area, safely fenced in and really clean. The cabins are clean and comfortable. I will continue to come back every summer/fall :)

Friendly staff and super clean facilities, close to some great conservation areas. Good place to stop off the 401 and recharge on your travels. The traffic noise was not an issue, just like white noise. This was our first KOA and we'll consider them in our future travels.

This campground is very close to home and we always enjoy our stay when we are there. For all the reviews saying it is loud due to the highway it is clearly stated that they are located near the highway and even at check in there is a giant sign that says so. But most KOA's are located close to highways due to convenience for travelers. The staff always go the extra mile and I have witnessed on several accounts of the managers even offering their own belongings such as extra hoses for water hook up and plug ins for the electric sites to campers who may not be as prepared. The activities they offer for children are fun and during the covid-19 crisis they have gone above and beyond majority of other campgrounds to accommodate guests while still taking guests and workers health and safety into consideration. If you are looking for a quick get away for the weekend then this is place for you! It is also located near many different conservation areas in the Halton Hills area which are open for hiking! In a world that is going through covid-19 I am happy that this campground still offers so much to guests and we should all appreciate that more! Thank you staff at Toronto West KOA for all you do!

Older facility. Some of the buildings could use some maintenance and painting. Most sites are somewhat shaded. Sites are about 24 foot wide, with hookups in the middle of the 12 wide grassy area. Good number of tent sites and cabins. Sits right next to HWY 401. Needless to say there's MAJOR highway noise 24 hours a day. But then you know that if you did your homework.
