This place is amazing!!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could. It was the most fun I'd ever had. The activities were awesome and everyone there was so kind and welcoming. The staff really care about the campers. This was the first time I was comfortable with a group of people I didn't know well. This camp gave me so much confidence. I'm telling you, this is the place to go. I'm counting down the days until I go this summer!

- dorms have no heating - areas are often bug filled and there is little enough bug control for an individual to have had a panic attack from head to toe mosquito bites one year - little space for dorm privacy - dorms have 2 bathrooms for 10 people and cafeteria has 2 bathrooms for everyone, one of which wont fit any large, physically disabled or claustrophobic individuals (you can barely sit without your knees touching the sink) - councillors do little in the way of helping high functioning kids, and often only accomidate low functioning kids e.g. if 2 kids get into a fight the low functioning kid will be told not to do it and face minor punishment while the high functioning kid gets 30 minute lectures explaining how they should be understanding and what they should do with disregard to what provoked them and often get blaimed with no change in policy (if two people in the same dorm get into fights daily they will remain in the same dorm for the rest of camp) - huge segregation between those on the higher and lower end of the spectrum. Since there is minimal supervision and care given to those without severe problems they are often only seen as the ones doing something wrong since it's thought that they are the only ones who can prevent conflict. That said councillors have little in the way of conflict resolution - councillors often physically restrain anyone or remove privileges to deal with conflict instead of taking preventative measures e.g.separating individuals who often conflict with each other (separate kids, remand kids, back to normal routine), encouraging communication, accommodating their non-disability related traits e.g is easily startled/provoked, fears which aren't severe such as fear of crowds, water fire etc. -
