This place use to be great a couple years ago but I have noticed a decline in quality over time. The pictured dessert is not what I expect when paying premium for a 'patisserie' item. Uneven glaze that didn't even cover the whole dessert. The pistachios used for garnish where burnt and completely bitter. I really do hope the standard increases, because they used to be pretty great

Yann’s decadent baking is epitomized in this delicious chocolate birthday cake! Chocolate mousse with dark chocolate and hazelnut crunch and almond make this so yummy! It melts in your mouth and be sure to leave room for a second piece! My brother was so pleased!
Of the many restaurants and pastry shops along 4th Ave SW, nothing compares to Yann Haute! My favorites are the croissants, sourdough bread, and tiramisu! They also sell frozen croissant 6 packs that you can bake at home...which are freaking amazing! The staff is friendly, personable, approachable. They make me feel welcome and I always appreciate the laughs! I don't speak French but just visiting this place inspires me to pick it up and steal the recipes!
Every single product in Yann Haute Patisserie are amazing. The desserts have a great balance on texture and flavors. The breads are incredible delicious

Secret gem in Mission. Super friendly staff and vibe. My go to spot for bread in Calgary. Period. Try the macaroons, croissants, sausage rolls, chocolates....essentially everything.
Everything is over priced. 7.75 for an individual lemon tart that tasted like a raw egg. 9 for 2pc of croissant that was super greasy. Purchased a few things and paid over 45. The only thing that tasted better was the Royal.
Great bakery, I ordered their small cakes and it was amazing. It wasn't super sweet like the typical grocery store deserts, the flavor and texture is what you expect from a high end bakery. The only draw back is the high price.
