The only regret that I have about CIES, is that I did not enrol with them earlier! A place where the staff are warm and welcoming, patient and are extremely dedicated to teach and impart valuable knowledge. CIES has something for everyone. I would especially recommend the Employment Skills Training program where newcomers are taught various aspects such as the Canadian workplace, Microsoft Office and other important skills. If you're new to Calgary (or for that matter, Canada) pay them a visit and speak to them about your goals. You'll definitely find something that's of worth. I would like to give a shoutout to Maria Varvos, Jennifer Vibert, Annegirl Berin, Celia Ho, Dawne Warner, Bob Morton and all the other members who helped me gear-up for employment which eventually resulted in me being confident and well-prepared for the work environment. The icing on the cake is that these courses are either free or cost nominal fees but the quality of education is stellar!
