Cheap and quick bubble tea. Basic option, not as fancy as some places but it doesn't really need it. Good food menu too but haven't tried a lot of it.

I will start by saying we were excited to try this place since it was one of the only places we haven’t tried in the city. The only reason it’s getting 1 stars is for decent customer service when we called the restaurant about point 2 and the onion pancake was pretty good. But otherwise we were very disappointed due to a number of issues: 1. The 4 sides are extremely small portion sizing. 2. There was a hair on the cheesecake - we called and were refunded But worst of all, and we didn’t try the tea until after we called the restaurant: 3. We ordered red bean milk tea and chocolate banana with grass jelly. We’ve had bubble teas we didn’t LOVE and still enjoyed them.... This was something else. We couldn’t even finish them. The drinks themselves were so poorly made. They were warm. They were separating as if they were watered down. They tasted so artificial to the point where it tasted like cleaning supplies. The red bean was puréed...? Which is wrong... We tried so hard to like them and drink them because all we wanted in that moment was bubble tea. It was our weekly treat. Needless to say it was thrown out as is in the photo. I am not a waster of food so this was upsetting for me. So so so disappointed and will not be returning and unfortunately do not recommend.

This curry beef rice tastes so bad, the beef is very very old, can’t even swallow them. Please use better quality beef next time.

Food here honestly isn’t that bad. It’s cheap and taste decently good. Bubble tea is definitely cheaper than many other places and taste pretty good. Service is okay, could be improved. Also they’re one of the few places that actually stay open till late at night which is perfect!

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. This is the second time I've ordered from Tea Funny and it was the best curry I've had in the city. Highly, highly recommend. Also, they have great BBQ bao and scallion pancakes if you have a hankering - as I did. :)
