This is a decent restaurant but I feel it coasts on reputation a bit. Food is enjoyable but not amazing. Prices have gotten a bit unreasonable for the portions. My last meal here after taxtip came to 170 for 4 people, and none of us ordered drinks. Lots of dishes are 20 for fairly small portions of noodles and vegetables. I'd probably even give this 2 stars but the service is always attentive and the venue is quite nice (good location and decor).

Top notch food , atmosphere, and service. Highly recommended.
We were visiting from Toronto and just passing through. We were staying near Chinatown and had no idea which restaurant to pick. Fortunately we ended up at Silver Dragon, and the food exceeded our expectations. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, authentic style. Friendly service too. This is an excellent restaurant and we would happily eat here again!
I don't think our water glasses got less than half full the entire meal and everyone was very nice, excellent service. We had 7 different dishes from the evening dim sum menu and all of them were excellent; the short ribs were a little tougher than I like but had excellent flavour. The wrapped sticky rice was especially excellent.
This place is consistently, the best Chinese food in Calgary. In fact, the best I’ve had in a lot of cities. The pot stickers are full of meat and quite substantial, not all dough like most other places. Their food is always fresh, flavourful, prepared quickly and always executed well. It’s a bit on the pricey side compared to other places but you truly get what you pay for. I would rather spend an extra 20 to know I’m getting a great meal vs gambling with other, bargain restaurants. The menu is very big too with more options than I’ve ever seen. You seriously will NOT be disappointed ordering from here. It’s the only place I order from now because I know I will be satisfied, 100% of the time. Their dine in restaurant is also very nice. Just a great place all in all. Customer for life.
Im not happy! The mongolian beef is actually a beef curry I ask the busier and they said it is a mongolian beef like seriously from the smell and look its a beef curry!! The bbq duck is so dry and the eggplant is full of salt and oil! Never to comeback!
Excellent dishes. Plenty of staff to provide the most hospitable experience during covid. Tables have been removed to meet covid restriction which allows for a more open floorplan. A smartphone is required for entry; you have to scan the QR code and provide covid information prior to being seated.
What an amazing experience. Very clean and very nicely decorated restaurant. Tables were in good distance from each other. Very friendly staff. Menus is very nice with large selection of dishes. Food arrived fairly quick and at perfect temperature. Really a great place, for sure will come back.
