I personally enjoy using car2go since my car has been in the shop being repaired. They should extend the "home" area though. Also sometimes the car is dirty (food wrappers, empty water bottles) but other than that, it's a cheap flexible rental, and I've enjoyed using them

unbelievable, I've been trying to pay an unpaid balance of 15 due to my credit card info needing updating for 2 plus months....phone calls and emails full of promises that it will be paid in 24 hours, still locked out of my account. Scary company, god help anyone that would need to deal with a larger problem with these guys...... I'm done, cabs moving forward for me and my family.

Great idea, poor execution if you can’t register directly from the app. I’ve got a UK drivers licence so it asked me to send a copy to their customer services email address to complete the booking. Got an automated reply saying I’d hear back in 2-3 days, now 6 days later and I’ve chased 4 times with no response. Would have been great to have been able to actually use it!

I’ve received an email a few weeks ago in regards to their price increase and mileage allowance decrease starting September 9, 2019 — since, I’ve cancelled my car2go membership. Stick to a rental or rent on Turo app with more reasonable mileage allowance and at least 40-60% cheaper rental rates.

I made an account through a company I worked for a few years ago, but didn't complete the process. Now after trying to make a second account (because I don't have access to my old email) I've run into issues because the driver's licence is on two different accounts. That's the entirety of the issue. Solving it has taken two and a half weeks, and multiple calls to customer service. They have: -Managed to suspend both accounts, not just the old one -Told me multiple times that the account was verified, only to find out that I had to call them again because the issue wasn't fixed -Locked me out of uploading my licence, requiring yet another call to fix It has been infuriating, and I haven't even gotten to use the service yet. Horrible customer service.

We'll miss you car2go. You weren't perfect and your performance declined steadily through the years (paradoxically, as the vehicles improved), but your service provided freedom and convenience to many Calgarians. Let's hope car sharing makes a return some day.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star. Over the past year and a half I have had issues with car2go not processing my balance properly. Meaning they've accepted my credit card as a valid form of payment but then for some reason can't proceed in taking the balance. No biggie, I'll just call and give them a different card, only to have them try to reprocess the balance on the card that they couldn't get to work. It took me nearly 3 months and countless phone calls to finally sort out the issue. Fast forward a year and the same issue is happening. It's been months now and they still have not given me a solid solution on how to settle this balance after providing multiple forms of payment, all valid. It's literally the worst service and I'm happy they are leaving calgary.

My wife got locked out of her account when her credit card expired. When she called to update her payment information the car2go employee took down the wrong information and 10 emails later car2go has still not managed to correct the information. The level of incompetence astounds me.
