Extremely satisfied! Very friendly staff. The car was clean and brand new (only 5000 kilometers). They have competitive prices among their competitors in the area. They have a free shuttle within 10 minutes service between the airport and the location just calling their number. They offer any insurance you want. I can totally recommended this location to anyone.

AVOID - AVOID - AVOID I experienced the worst service ever. When I showed up at the shuttle stop at the airport, I called them for the shuttle, they said they were on the way. Routes is at 7min drive. The shuttle took 32min to show up. By that time we were about 20 persons waiting and the van was able to pick up like 8 persons or so, so the rest of the had to wait longer. Arrived at Routes, there was a dozen of persons waiting outside for their car to show up, because they had paid already but there was no car for them available. Their pick up time was 10am and it was like 12. Routes overbook the rentals... So, I stand in line, there is 6 persons in front of me. Note that there was 4 persons working at Routes that day. I took 1h30 to be finally serve at the counter... obviously, the sedan I rented isn't there, so they issue me a Durango (hard on gas). They don't give you the keys right away, because the truck wasn't pressure washed already. Guess what... I took another 55min to have the truck back in front washed (the outside) than the guy came to inspect it and gave me the keys finally. The whole process took 3HOURSSSS! Guess what the inside wasn't clean, the windshield was so discusting I had to stop at gas station to get some stuff to clean it (pictures). When I dropped the truck 4 days later, I complained about my experience and the only thing they were able to say it's : we can ofter you a 10% discount... I took it, but guess what, after review they gave me a 10% discount on only 75% of the invoice... A REAL JOKE THIS PLACE IS! EDIT: Routes like to blame covid, but their staff had no mask while walking through the line-up of people. They weren't cleaning the inside of the vehicle. Customer cooperation for 3 hours hahaha this one make me laugh

Nice people and decent truck. Shuttle back to the airport was a clusterf#k. Waited in the shuttle for 20 min for them to wait for ONE passenger. It only take me 5 min one way to the airport. Why not take us and come back? Would not recommend

Stay away, stay far away, unless you want extra charges on your credit card!!! In my option....This place is trying to charge for previous damage on vehicle's. I rented a vehicle last week and on pick-up inspection found a crack in the windshield plus a lot of other damages, it was noted. On return vehicle was inspected and given the all good but I had to close the account inside. The agent inside(who wasn't outside) without talking to the other agent brought up right away the vehicle had a cracked windshield and asked how I wanted to pay for the damage. Thankfully I saw the crack in the pick-up inspection and had it added to the form.(again) It seams this company is sending out damaged vehicles and then trying to charge multiple people for repairs. I have contacted and reported my findings to the Calgary Police. ***Updated after Routes review*** You say you don't charge for existing damage on vehicles then begs the question why did your rep at the snap of a finger bring up the windshield crack upon closing our contract? I have never encountered closing a contract at any other rental agency. FYI - Calgary Police also agree with me, you guys are trying to scam people for damage charges.

Initially was going to be a 4 star review but their conduct after I returned the car lowered it to a 1 star. I rented a car from this business from 10am on December 7 to 2pm on December 14, 2020. Because of the way their billing works (as explained by their agent) they had to charge me for an extra full day because I was originally returning it after 10am (the original pickup time). That was fine with me, and I proceeded to take the rental. On the morning of December 14th, I had to take my wife to the hospital and called the business to ask if I could extend the rental until 10am the following day because I had already paid for it. The lady I spoke with verified with the manager at the time, and told me that it wouldn't be a problem since I had already paid for that time period. I then returned it the next day (Dec. 15, 2020) at 10am like required. I had paid in advance so there were no additional amounts owing, and the file was closed. I also received an invoice at checkout showing no additional amounts owing and that everything was paid for. Almost two weeks later on Dec. 26, 2020, the company tried to put through an additional charge on my credit card for 66.09. There was no notice or invoice from them as to what it was for. I contacted the Calgary location to figure out the additional charge and they eventually informed me it was for additional mileage, even though my contract included unlimited mileage. I then contacted the head office who told me it was a charge for an additional day, even though I got the \additional day\ cleared with the rental location in advance. After a few weeks and multiple emails back and forth, they reversed the charge. It makes no sense to me as to why my card would be charged almost two weeks after my rental and with no notice. It almost appears as if they're rummaging through old invoices trying to find new ways in which they can charge their clients. Very low prices but you're definitely taking a chance. Would not recommend.
