When my family moved to calgary we chose Preimere Dance Academy as our dance studio. Its variety of classes and available times, with a list of impressive and versatile faculty and teachers had us happy and comfortable to be at the studio as if it was our second home. I danced at the studio for 5 years and continued on as a class sub teacher and part of the faculty staff for 2 more years. The studio director and teacher Ms.Lisa treats each dancer with respect, and willing to go above and beyond in order to see each succeed in all their classes. The studio is one large family! in the halls, classes, and recital or competition day the senior dancers are always interacting and having fun with the intermediates and the intermediates with the juniors. Everyone of all ages and technical ability has other dancers to learn and grow from. The environment in the studio is always highly spirited, that I always felt physically and mentally safe to try my best without judgement on my character. Ms. Lisa and the staff always surprised me by how quickly they got to know everyone on such a personal level. You can tell right away, every dancer that comes through the front doors is accepted for who they are and will be apart of the Premiere family forever. Although I graduated afew years ago and dont have children of my own to enrol, for these reasons I still attend every year end recital to see how the teachers and studio contines to grow. I would highly recommend Premiere Dance Academy to anyone wanting to enrol their children into a studio that will push them to always be growing technically, emotionally and physically. Knowing when they graduate they will always have a dance family to lean on and celebrate accomplishments with!

I have had the best last 21 years of my life watching my three daughters grow up at Premiere. With this unfortunately being our last year there with the graduating of our youngest daughter. So many incredible memories. So many amazing people. Really a second family for them. Great experiences and friendships that will probably last a lifetime. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am that we were able to have Premiere Dance Academy as a huge part of our lives. Love everyone there ️

We were with Premiere for many years. However the elitist attitude of the owner creates and supports an environment where the competitive dancers are held in higher regard. Bullying behavior was tolerated and left unaddressed despite being raised. If your child is in the competitive program then this may be a good fit for you, but if your child is dancing for enjoyment, your fees including your costume fees are going towards subsidizing the competitive program and you will be treated as second class. We finally went to another dance studio in the NW which has been a breath of fresh air.

Great studio! Beautiful space with large, spacious, state of the art studios as well as a lovely lounge and kitchenette area for dancers to eat their snacks. Amazing staff and teachers make this an awesome choice to learn or expand a students love of dance. The dancers who go here are as lovely as can be, with awesome attitudes and are always super welcoming to new students. All in all, Premiere Dance Academy is a top notch dance studio that has the best Calgary has to offer. 10/10!!!

Over a span of approximately 9 years, both of my daughters danced at Premiere Dance Academy. Starting as recreational dancers, then moving to competitive team members, as a family we spent countless hours both at the studio and on the road with the team. We found the teachers and environment extremely supportive, and dance was a huge part of our lives. As a family owned studio, we got to know both Lisa and Todd very well and always felt that they were invested in our children and worked tirelessly to create impactful experiences. My girls gained both confidence & friendships throughout their time at PDA. I would highly recommend Premiere Dance Academy!
