Excellent new restaurant in the heart of down town! Me and my fiance celebrated my birthday here, cocktails and food are amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is sophisticated while giving a relaxing and cozy feeling with the plants and beautiful chandeliers. Will be coming back once restaurants open up again for fine dining!

This is a beautiful space. It's petty busy. The food was good, but nothing mind blowing here. The cocktails were enjoyable, and the service was very good. I will definitely go back as the design of the restaurant is uniquely beautiful.
My husband and I visited Orchard to celebrate birthday last week and had an incredible experience! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were magically whisked away to a enchanting oasis which I would describe as a "Modern Tropical Versailles". The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the meal we had was scrumptious. Chef Jenny has done a phenomenal job of curating a simple yet diverse menu that will tantalize every taste bud. Every dish we had was outstanding in terms of quality of ingredients and combination of flavors. Some memorable stand outs from the evening included the marinated tomatoes (a refreshing taste of summer to help us forget that it was -30 outside!) and the rabbit tagliatelle which was the ultimate elevated comfort pasta - rich, creamy and delicious! We can't wait to return to try more of the menu!
We had a lovely lunch at Orchard. The food presentation and taste was totally outstanding. The atmosphere was really comforting with all the plants and the chandeliers gave it a very impressive setting. Our only complaint would be, the cost of the wine. 60.00 was the lowest bottle of wine. Our server was pretty quick about pouring. We felt a bit rushed. We would definitely go back for the food.
Attention to detail was the highlight of this evenings meal. Outstanding service, great drinks and the best food I’ve had in a long time! The beef tartare with truffle was so good - I almost considered ordering another for dessert! The broccoli is a must have! Decor and branding is very on trend. My only issue was the chair height was a bit awkward in relation to the table height and tall people like myself might have sore knees after sitting for a while in these lower chairs. Overall a great new addition to the Calgary food scene and obviously the chef is very skilled and I am very much looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu!
Visited for brunch in March and loved the ambience. Ingredient were extremely fresh and made with TLC while plating. Our server Julie made us feel right at home and their french press coffee was nothing short of awesome for the average coffee consumer. Overall our mains at brunch - Korean fried chicken and the brunch burger was satisfactory. We enjoyed our meal here and would come back! We wondered who watered all the plants...
What a fantastic place! My husband and I had lunch at Orchard on February 19, 2021 - it was everything we hoped for and more, let me tell you. The decor is amazing - the combination of all the plants and the astonishing array of chandeliers is something better seen than described....what a mind blower. The menu choices are so great it was tough to choose - I do suggest you try the broccoli, though...even if you think you don't like broccoli, try Orchard's version - you will be forever converted. The chicken sandwich and the beet salad were delicious, and the coffee topped off our meal perfectly - we even got to chat with the chef and compliment her amazing creations. We will be back...EVERYONE...make sure you try this excellent restaurant!
This restaurant is beautiful and the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. It took us 20 minutes for our server to get to us and then another 15 to get drinks. I think they just have been short staffed because it was a Tuesday at 6. When our server came she was super nice and the food was excellent. We will be back but hopefully the service is a bit faster!
