Fantastic experience, went here for lunch with the girls and the staff was so friendly! We had the Brisket Bene and it was too notch, can't wait to visit again soon!

My favourite is their brisket eggs Benedict. The meat is pull apart with a spoon tender and the mushroom make it heartier than it already is. The Benedicts come with hash browns and I choose fruit over salad and a unique touch is that you can have it served a fluffy waffle! very delicious
Monki is a little corner pocket with a lot to offer. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. The place is very small. So if you don't wanna call ahead be prepared to wait an hour for a table. The food is decent and the service is friendly. Portions are good... however the temperature of the food could be hotter. Because of the number of tables... hanging out for coffee is not possible. BTW... the pillar in the middle of the room is covered with tiny fortunes from the Fortune Cookies they give with your bill at the end of your visit.
Got my order through door dash... unfortunately the poached egg and cheese was missing from my order. On the bright side the potatoes and brisket was good, but not a poutine and lacking the best part.
We booked for brunch ( hard to get in otherwise) and had an amazing brunch at the Monki. Our meal was great, eggs bene done perfectly as well as my classic bacon and eggs. The coffee is good and we watched other plat4es some out that looked amazing. Highly recommended.
