Got to sign up for the Saturday course this past winter (February 2020) and loved each class!! It was practical hands on experience with theory, technical and learning elements. I left the class with a whole new appreciation for bartenders! I did the add on classes: Wine Tasting and Bar Chef which were a lot of a fun and got to meet some new people! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to start a career, a new hobby or just interested in something new!

My course was so great. Our instructor Ian Arcega is a wealth of knowledge and we have learned everything and much more. Thank you and I can't wait until I start working and can use all that he has taught us!!!
if you're thinking about taking the course , dO it ! I took the day course with Ian and it was so fun and he was super knowledgeable. Luckily my group was only a group of 4 including myself , instead of say 10 people. I personally haven't had any experience with serving or bartending industry (only retail ) but if you were wanting to get into that industry , this is a great place to start. Coming out of this with so much more than I started and I enjoyed it along the way ; so for me it was absolutely worth the pretty penny :) Thank you so much Ian for being so awesome !
From the start, I was impressed with the knowledge of the instructors. They know a LOT! I didn't realize there was so much to learn but it's been great. The bar at the school is a great learning tool and enables you to become quick and efficient in making a variety of drinks. 5 stars to these guys! I have one more week to go and I'm looking forward to learning more.
I was impressed with the knowledge of my instructor (Ian). He is awesome, friendly and he knosws a lot....... I really had no idea that there is so much to learn but Ian makes it easy. After couples days of training I just wanted to go learn more. This school is pretty awesome and I'm happy that I signed up for the school they help me move faster and learn different kind of drinks it's just great. I still have another week left in school and I am excited to learn more. Thank you metropolitan school and thank you Ian for the knowledge.
Incredible instruction; many fun. The small class size allowed for a lot of one on one instruction, support, and plenty of time to practice your skills. The bar-style environment is excellent, especially for those who have never worked in the service industry. 10/10 would recommend.
I love this school! Ive been here for two days and I can already amaze my friends. The teacher is so easy o get along with and follow through the lesson with. And the fact that I can make my own drinks instead of buying the same ones at the store really makes it amazing. I understand why my co-workers told me to come here. I will be making the big bucks asap!!
