One of the best sushi places in Calgary. The fish is always fresh and the rolls are great! They also have ramen for cold days.

-seat not convenient -low temperature feel really cold and some customers even wear coat inside -wait too long between dishes -food amount not enough at all -come for Japanese food not French cuisine -only one kind of set menu tonight？ -food not deserve the money -anyway not a pleasant experience for valentine‘s day dinner -4 pieces sushi？called 4 courses，serious？
The quality was very low and will not be coming back. The rice was too dry and their deluxe sushi and sashimi combo was not fresh. They had good homemade green tea ice cream though
Our favorite sushi place. Had the pleasure of treating ourselves to the omakase and saki. Very memorable meal and nice experience. Servers are always friendly and attentive. Owner and chef always greets us even though he's usually very busy. We've tried the majority of their dishes and have yet to be disappointed.
Pop up event at maruju. Great time with a few local yyc chefs.
One of my favorite sushi places. It is quaint and cozy and the service is always excellent. Dean the sushi chef always takes extra time to ensure the food is good and well presented. Really good at accommodating guests as well. The fish is very fresh and their homemade black sesame ice cream is the best I have had!!! Been coming here for a decade!!!
It was a little expensive for the philly roll but the 10 piece lunch special with soup and salad was very good value and the presentation was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Chef gave my wife and I little bowls of ice cream at the end. Very nice.
Great portion. Reasonably affordable price. The monkey balls were tasty. They are not sushi though I ordered them thinking it was but it was still good anyway. The tempura soba i ordered was tasty however i think it was too over seasoned and bit too oily. Service was exceptional. Will come here again.
