Made by Momma is a grassroots non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity located in Calgary. We help families facing situations of adversity and crisis by providing healthy homemade meals, wholesome baked goods, baby essentials, children’s items, supportive in-home visitors and other services to allow mothers the time they need to rest and focus on their families and their health. Because we are 100% volunteer-run, our operating costs are kept low, and the effectiveness of donated dollars/ items very high. Very friendly volunteers, they helped me pack my car with the items I requested, Also carried some bags for me, I liked the idea to have free kids and adults libraries outside the building so that you can take whatever books or stories you want. Leanne the assistance coordinator was understandable when I missed my first appointment for pick up and promptly replying to my Emails. I requested assistance few times from Made by Momma five years ago and I can see there is significant improvements and more volunteers are helping. I saw some cribs, strollers and high chairs you are giving away for those who are in need. Thank you, the whole family appreciate your help. I definitely told my friends who are in need of help about you and they are praying for you.

Had an amazing day cooking at Made by Momma today Everything was so organized for us. So glad we could create delicious, healthy meals for parents whose babies are in NICU and other families in crisis. I love this charity!

This was around the 4th or 5th time I’ve done a cook with this organization and once again it was a great time!! What better way to spend a beautiful January morning!! Our group loves helping out at least three times a year. They have everything you need and no cooking experience required. Just bring your willingness to work and a great attitude! Looking forward to more cooks! Thanks Allyson and Joanna for another great day of warm and fuzzy feelings! Starting off 2020 right!
