Amazing organization, it has been the absolute best program over the last 10 years for our 14yr old daughter! The choir is world class with very high expectations of each chorister and teaches great work ethic ! The Calgary girls choir is a very special group of girls that our daughter loves to sing with each and every week! Recent 2018 Tour to Wales was fantastic!! Shannon
We are incredibly thankful for the impact that the CGC is having in our girls' lives, despite the fact that recent rehearsals have had to take place virtually. As parents we notice such a huge difference in the girls after they've come off of their online rehearsals. It's clear that the experience of singing with others and being a part of such beautiful harmonies has a huge impact on their moods and their emotional and mental wellbeing. They both are noticeably uplifted and it's the only online extra-curricular that they are excited about. At a time when we all have to be so vigilant about nurturing our mental health, this program has been just the lift that our girls need each week. Thank you CGC for all of the effort that has been put into making the best of a tricky situation with COVID restrictions; the online delivery is outstanding. Having all of the parts represented makes it so enjoyable for the girls. We've been a part of this choir family for a number of years now, so we know just how incredible it will be when the girls can all sing together in person again. There's no doubt that we look forward to that time but remain thankful for the online option in the meantime.
We feel truly blessed to be part of this wonderful music family. Mrs Q is such a talented loving mentor for these young ladies. This choir has added such beautiful memories to our love. Life long friendships and loads of confidence for my daughter. Thanks to all the hard work of the staff and volunteers and board! Bravo
My little kiddo was so shy not only with singing but with interacting with anyone. She has come out of her shell and is much more confident in singing but more importantly to me at least, confident in herself. She loves putting on little mini-shows for us now. Love what they can do for the girls. Elaine is able to focus the choir to understand the techniques with lots of fun sprinkled in!
