Delicious authentic Ethiopian with hearty portions. I could tell that the chef takes pride in their cooking—we came on a not too busy day a few months prior and the chef personally came to ask how it was. Service overall was also fantastic. The coffee I would definitely recommend. It may seem on the expensive side, though definitely worth the experience. They roast the coffee for you fresh and bring it to give you a whiff of the aromas before proceeding to brew it. Coffee was great, and side of sugared popcorn compliments it well.

We went there for the first time recently. We got a vegetarian platter and the food was absolutely unreal. So many great flavours. The waitress was very friendly and kind as well. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone wanting to try this out.

Food was great! Waitress was really helpful explaining the menu and was attentive. We got the meat and veggie platter to share and the two of us barely ate half! Prices are great for the portion sizes. Will be back!

We had dinner at GEEZ. It was our first experience with Ethiopian food, and it delighted! The server took great care in describing the different elements of Ethiopian cuisine to us and made recommendations. The portions are generous! We partook in the tea ceremony which was a fantastic way to wrap up the dining experience. We will be back again, and hope to try the Ethiopian beers next time.

I enjoyed the meals and environment. The most important part were the staff was super nice and the cook was very friendly, she served the food for us in person, very open and welcoming. They will also explain every detail of the ingredients if you are interested. The service, food, and price was good all in all. I recommend this place if you visited Calgary and experience a unique dish.

My husband and I shared a take out veggie platter tonight and it was so yummy! The flavours - yes please. Was enough for the both of us with no leftovers and the plate wiped clean with injera. The cardamom tea was also delicious, just wish it was a bigger cup. Great job!

This is one fine restaurant. They have an amazing place and a menu showcasing the ethiopian culture very well. My husband and I went there the day before the ethiopian new year and lady gave us bread and explained to us how that was a part of the new year celebration. The food was excellent, the quantity was great and the staffs were extremely friendly.

An amazing and delicious meal including fresh made cheese in house, a perfect blend of spices, great atmosphere, music and very friendly staff. Chef came out and spoke to all the customers and described her techniques and spices. We ordered the meat and veggie combo w Awaze tibs, Derek tibs, Gomen Be Siga, Kitfo, Cheese Ayeb (fantastic!!!), Misir, Potato, Carrot, and Beets. More than enough for 3 or 4 people!
