I was so excited for this to open after reading about it everywhere. Sometimes places don't live up to the hype... This is not one of those places!! The concept is perfect - how can you go wrong with all skewers and grilled meats /seafood / deliciousness? Very unique and creative cocktails, huge selection of skewers, and top notch service. I noticed they all worked together as a team and it was such a pleasure dining here. I can't wait to come back!

Great experiential dining spot on 17th Avenue. My husband and I have visited this establishment twice now and each time was a lot of fun! The hot lava stone cooking is pretty awesome. First time visiting was their "Exotic Night" special so, frog legs, alligator, ostrich, and kangaroo (although they were out of ostrich, but just gave more portions of the other three meats which was fine). Second visit was "Date Night" with the steak and lobster on special. Everything was really tasty. We also ordered some of their skewers, all of which were very good as well. On date night, we ordered the Ferris Wheel off the dessert menu. It's normally 30, but was on special for 1/2 price. It was mediocre. Definitely not worth 30, barely worth 15 in my opinion, but it does look like a ferris wheel and they bring it out with a fun sparkler, so it gets points for novelty effect. Cocktails are pretty good too and I love that they have a couple of mocktails on their drink menu. Staff is super friendly and things within the restaurant are run fairly efficiently.
Was here a couple weeks ago and had the best experience. We tried two of each of the skewers - the tofu was SO good! The cocktail menu is super fun! My gifrie d ended up with a drink that came in a smoking elephant. Then we did the date night steak and lobster on the hot rock, and for dessert we got a FERRIS WHEEL with cake pops, candy popcorn, cotton candy. The staff was super friendly and service was on point. I heard the patio upstairs is finally open and I'm looking forward to a return visit to check it out.
For such a new restaurant and new concept in Calgary, i have to say these guys here really executed and killed this menu! The food, cocktails and even the desserts are so unique and always made wit quality. I have been to this new restaurant 3 or 4 times since they opened and i have never been disappointed. I applaud the owner and staff for the consistency here at this place. Highly recommend everyone to check it out!
Not one for reviews but the review is more so aimed at helping the management team take up a little more accountability and make a few changes. When we got there, we were told we could only be there for an hour and half with limited explanation as to why. Fair and fine, we are on a timer. For the first 20 minutes we were waiting for someone to serve us. When that finally happened we got the drinks at least another 20 minutes later so 40 minutes gone. After another long wait we had to call a server over to allow us to order and the food took at least another 20 or so minutes to get to us. The part that did leave me extremely uneasy and baffled was the fact that the servers were not 100% sure where some of the food orders were going? To top it all off we ordered something that we never received but still got billed for. I only realized after I got home and checked the receipt that in fact that was the case! I literally chuckled to myself. My only recommendation would be to be largely more organized and maybe even physically label your tables with big bold numbers to help your servers. The food we did have was pretty good so kudos to the chef but the rest of the experience just left a sour taste in my mouth.
The staff are amazing, the drinks are unique and tasty, and the food was great. Would have given 5 stars but the hot stone(45 value) menu was altered without notifying us that items were no longer available and when asked to return it was told we couldn't but would be comped 1 free dessert (8 value). The hot stone was supposed to be 4 exotic meats (ostrich, kangaroo, alligator, and frog legs) we were given 4 frog legs, 4 pieces of alligator and a large pile of steak. We don't eat beef so it was a complete let down that we were stuck with it. Will definitely return but only getting vegetarian/ seafood options.
They canceled our reservation without notifying us. Stuffed us on the bar (which we agreed to, so I can't complain) Some Service staff seemed lost. Like they were overstaffed. There were so many bodies around me I felt uncomfortable. Food wise, the hot plates are an interesting concept. The sauces served with the dishes were nice. Staff was either all on us or ignored us. All in all, interesting concept. Nice first date fling spot. Otherwise, would not go back
Tasty food, just wish there was more of it for the price. 2 prawns on a kabob is 4 no side dish or other presentation. I'm sure there's a special person out there that likes small dishes. It was a special occasion for the 2 of us so we decided to treat ourselves. 130 (includes tip) was what it cost all said and done to finally feel satisfied enough to leave... had to top off the evening with some made by marcus ice cream which is always satisfying.
