I went with a group of peers from the office. We had the entire boat to ourselves. It was a very nice night and the conversation moved throughout the boat and on the deck. The meal was what you would expect and the portions were great. I was very pleased. Everyone was very cheerful and happy. I hope to go back again with another group in the future.

This was an awesome trip. You have to experience it, if you haven't done it yet. But... make sure you have reservations months in advance. Out trip was in mid September and therefore wasn't too hot, in fact, there was a very nice breeze blowing through the restaurant. This is an open restaurant, so there is no air conditioning. Friendly and courteous staff. However, I must mention that the staff should be more educated into understanding what celiac disease is. Luckily, nothing serious happened but that may not be the case next time, with someone else. They will accommodate for gluten free option just has to be mentioned at the time of reservation.
Had a fabulous time. Quite peaceful and relaxing...crusing down the river. Great for seniors. The entertainment was lovely. The Blazing fiddles were awesome. The Captain and the staff were quite friendly and I would love to do it again.
We enjoyed our dinner cruise so much!! Captain Eva and her staff made this a very enjoyable anniversary. Her commentary on the history of the surrounding area was very interesting and the serving staff were very polite, friendly and efficient. The dinner was absolutely delicious!! And we were even offered seconds but we were too full from the generous first portion. We will definitely be looking into the other cruises offered by them!
The Grand River Dinner Cruise is a short drive southwest of Toronto (about an hour). This second generation family-run business offers several dinner and cruise packages. Our noon-time cruise lasted about three hours. The food on board was great with fresh-backed bread and apple pie. Alcoholic beverages were also available. Before the cruise started, we were entertained by the \Blazing Fiddles\. The captain pointed out various landmarks. There is also a gift shop.
