Nice campground with access to the lake. Beautiful views from the beach. Friendly ownership made my stay enjoyable. Slush puppies look delicious.

Our family stayed here the last few nights and immensely enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately there was an accidental trailer fire that caused quite the commotion. I would like to send HUGE gratitude to the owners and staff for the way they handled the situation. With the potential for the fire to spread, the owner and staff went door to door to knock on every campers' door. He was calm but direct advising that there was a fire, that the authorities had been notified, and that we should be alert incase we needed to evacuate. He was concerned first and foremost with his customers safety and well being. While several campers panicked, I overheard staff calmly and patiently explaining how staying calm would benefit everyone while also helping to direct campers to safety. Never mind the fact that the washrooms were spotless, the beach was beautiful, the people were friendly, that they have a boat launch, a beach with horse shoes and other activities in a gorgeous setting -- the fact that the owner and staff demonstrated that the customer and customer service is their number one priority far outweighs anything else. I applaud Calabogie Camping for an amazing job and will be going back for sure. I should add that no-one was injured and the fire was put out quickly by the fire fighters. I hope the owner and staff appreciate that this was a total fluke accident and not because of something they did. Thank you again Calabogie Camping!!

Great, extremely helpful staff. They went more than an extra mile to make us feel welcome. The location is really nice, but some of the sites are across the road from the beach/marina. The campsite is a work in progress under the new management. The new owners are really trying to make significant improvements; however, it has some impact on its current state (some digging, construction), and some of the sites used generators instead of power lines.

Great campground. Had a blast. Beautiful location with a small but well kept beach. Has a boat launch and convenience store. Nice and friendly owners. Highly recommended!!

Excellent hosts. My daughter and I had an amazing weekend here. We camped so close to where we launched our kayaks, power, water and bathroom close by. We felt so welcomed by the owners. Our site was lovely. A evening of song and conversation by the fire made it perfect.

We had a lovely tent lot. One of the nicest I've ever spent a night at but unfortunately, seasonal campers are aloud to run their generators all day long and all night long making for quite the constant back noise.
