My friend told me to tell you my experience here a few months ago. Do not buy from here! The staff were incredibly rude. Me and my wife are indigenous and was followed by a staff the whole time! We tried buying a stroller and the staff member was insanely rude. Left without getting anything. They should just put up a sign saying "whites only" on the door!

Racially profiles POC. Also, some of the men workers were being really creepy towards my wife. Just order things online or support local. I do not recommend this place.
Me and my wife have been shopping at buy buy baby for some time now and we are new to this city! and every time we go there there's always something different being said. we bought a car seat and stroller and a few attachments from 3 different fellows. and every time they would always tell us something differently! We are so frustrated and fed up with their service. They were friendly but poor customer service. If I could I would give 0 stars, but the woman with short hair who worked on the other side of the store went out of her way to keep my pregnant wife (at the time) happy. I wish I could remember her name. If only the other staff was like that.
Amber was SO helpful when purchasing a car seat today. Thank you!
Staff are helpful. Large selection
I visited Buy Buy Baby on St. James recently and asked for a huge favour from the ladies there to help me with a small gender reveal for my fiancé and I. They went above and beyond and I'm so grateful for their kindness and wonderful and creative gift! A Special Thanks to Kirsten!
I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Would have done 0 if I could, however google won't allow it. In the last year your service has gone down hill, so much so that we are going to take our business elsewhere. I am actually curious how long you guys will stick around Canada. I just received one of the two packages I have ordered from you. You know the package that I ordered for my baby, so I don't have to go to the store in a middle of a pandemic so not to put my infant at risk. Guess what? Apparently your St. James location in Winnipeg finds it appropriate to ship returned personal hygiene items to customers. Yes, you heard me right, I have ordered combs and brushes for my newborn and received an open package that clearly someone had returned in the past. Re-use? Not in this case! I am absolutely appalled at this type of service, and frankly at this point would rather attend to Babies 'R' Us instead, at least they do not recycle through returned products, and when I am trying to contact your customer service immediately, your "wait time is unknown", so let's see what happens next. Nasty! And that is just a recent event. Very unfortunate how much your staff went from being best in town, to a complete lack of regard to any basic rules of customer service.
Friendly service and has everything for babies and mothers. Each department has separate staff depending on the items needed (ie specialists on cribs to post pregnancy perineum care products). They are learning as they go so customers input is important. Employees will come to you and ask if you need help as majority of the time mothers need help, so customer care comes to you and not the other way around. Imagine having to track down staff post caesarean! Thank you for the help and post care products.
