Replaced the carburetor on my lawn tractor a couple years ago.(800) Noticed an abundance of oil leaking out of the carb as the employees were loading it. Got it home and it worked fine the first cut. 2nd time i went to use it, it wouldn't start again( same issue the carb was supposed to fix). Jiggled some wires and found an old connection to the coil rotted and loose, followed the same wire back and found an old bare patch in the wire shorting out on the block. I phoned and was blown off. I was so disgusted i parked the tractor in my shed and bought another 1. The reason for the late review is I'm cleaning out my shed and need to do something with the mower.
