Good school, as far as schools go. The seismic upgrades get a bit noisy sometimes but it isn’t too distracting. Unlike what other reviews say, the teachers are really nice and the small size of the school is good in many ways. There’s a good amount of clubs and teams to join and there are tons of sales and events. I’d recommend going here.

Terrible school. Alpha Secondary School is a very small school currently in the process of being torn down and renovated. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes you have workers in classrooms with kids learning inside. The school is also very old, so that means as they tear up the roof they risk exposing asbestos. The teachers are mostly old and twisted people who seem to enjoy seeing students in pain. There are many other options for schools such as north, which is a few kilometers away.3
If you love your children, do not send them here. This school is the worst. Every time there's a super smart and well-liked teacher, they transfer that teacher away and replace them with people who are rude or stupid. I have many examples of this happening with the most successful teachers at Alpha. Some teachers are mean, abusive or derogatory. There's also not very many elective options, due to its small size.
