I'm trying to attend a class & work in the area. Want to attend class on weekend. Walked in today & they only have instructors, no one on a desk. Ii will try emailing but as with most of these places the only person who answers emails is the owner who usually doesn't check emails because 99 per vent of ppl are already registered. I do not want to register on line because I already have three other places I take classes at & don't want to confuse the platform on WHICH place I'm attending - plus I would have to remember yet a fourth password. There are also a few instructors I don't want to dance with - same old songs have been played for the last year....pls change it up!

Best place in Vancouver if you want to learn how to dance. Family run business and they put their entire heart into teaching and making their students feel comfortable. I highly recommend taking classes with Diego, because his approach to teaching and breaking down all the steps is simply amazing and highly appreciated.

I was recently a new client at World Dance Co and I was very impressed. They have a lot of variety of dance classes with great instructors. I have taken latin dance classes with several instructors and I have to say Diego Sanchez was the best teacher I had. He teaches in very keen and detailed manner that really sticks with you. Plus I never had an instructor that taught all styles of Salsa incorporated. I recommend taking private lessons with him since he cannot watch everybody at the same time in group classes, then you would not just learn the dance but the proper techniques. He could be bit aggressive in his teaching methods though. I do prefer an instructor that is honest and point out my mistakes whenever possible so that I learn, but some other students have said he comes off as rude. Especially the techniques he teaches are hard and feels more advanced than the current level so it is hard to remember. Because of this, learning dances here felt like starting university after taking lessons at other places which was like grade school. The instructors and the staff were very accommodating. The younger and newer instructors on the other hand were not very friendly or encouraging which if improved could make the place more welcoming especially for newer students.

I went there to see a free Tango class which my friend informed me about which i wanted to video type it and share with my we chat friends so that i can geather a group of friends to go take the dance class togeather to avoid dancing randomly with other strangers aspeacialy while no mask using mandatory, but while i was video typing i noticed in video that the instructor asked the receptionest to tell us that can't video type the dance class, it was an act of to help them and advertise for them amoung my friends, but i felf a bit uneassy about not be able to video type it if i was taking the class, i would like to video type all my classess to review n ply it in slow motion to master the dance instead of taking the same class over and over again. So i will not evaluate this time and let you readers decide how you feel about this place, how ever, i will still take the class with a few friends instead of inviting a group of my friends considering that there are many free lessons offored in UBC and in Downtown vancouver as well. You all have a great week.

I started dancing 3 years ago, and the way Diego’s teaching made a beginners life so easy to grow. In a couple of months I had the confidence to go social dancing:)) The fact the family runs the business makes the atmosphere so pleasant to be, kind of extension from my house. The staff is amazing as well, especially Jailliy who is an amazing part of the team, and having an affordable annual pass, really hook me up to all the variety of styles the studio has to offer. Really the best place in town.
