I really like the one. I like their selections of food and drinks and the price is reasonable. The staff are friendly and the place is kept clean. The food, no matter which you choose is always good. I love their deep fried tentacles along with their chicken nugget fried rice and Kimchi fried rice

Food was incredibly salty. Even for a Taiwanese green onion pancake servers took a while to comprehend my drink order. And told me a tea was not available but the server mentioned it as an option on the menu. Service was confusing .. ambience is quite a gong show.
Tasty Taiwanese style food. Large portions and reasonable prices. They are offering dine in now, but we did takeout and ordered ahead with no issues. The food is tasty, but there's a bit of fusion going on, so some dishes are not as you'd traditionally expect. Especially liked the beef and tendon noodles in soup. Rich, slightly spicy broth and the noodles were done right. The spicy wontons are not the typical ones and are missing the garlic and vinegar flavour and are a bit on the spicy side.
Affordable eats! Ordered take out after figuring out that it has the same ownership as the (now gone) Lao Shan Dong on Kingsway. The dry noodle with ground pork sauce was just as good as we remembered! Also ordered the fish cake fried rice, Taiwanese style fried rice noodle, jellyfish and boiled pork and veg dumpling. There was a good portion of rice. The fried rice noodle and jellyfish were standard (probably would skip the appetizer next time and order a main dish instead). Overall we were happy with the dishes! The One has a good selection on their menu so will probably be back.
I loved their vegetable fried noodle. It was quite unique and something I've never tasted before. The deep fried tofu with the special sauce was spectacular. Though the tofu did smell a bit like fried squid. Not sure if they used the same fryer.
