An unique Chinese hotpot stewer place, the wall papers would bring you back to the 70’s in China, good place for selfies. Food is typical Sichuan style, spicy and tasty. Each skewer is 0.5, we ordered like 20/person. For the soup you can have different ones, we choose the combination of spicy and mushroom one, I like the mushroom soup especially. Great place for small group dine out, highly recommended!

First time trying Roadside. I enjoyed the broth and the sauce, most of the skewers prices are reasonable. However, the skewers does not come at the same time, and the service was really slow. We were the only ones at the restaurant and it still took 20-30 minutes at least for everything to be served. Since the skewers are one-bite, expect to order a lot to fill full! Our server was nice and clearly tried to create a more pleasant experience but we feel like the restaurant system definitely needs to be improved.

Good authentic place for chinese skewers. The broth was a little salty but the waiter gave us some free desserts to compensate. The decor of the place is also really old school China. I recommend the spicy pot and all the skewers beside the meat ones, they were not as flavourful compared to the other options.

Authentic Sichuan style skewers hotpot. My Sichuan frd thinks it’s not spicy enough but I personally think it’s the right level of spiciness that I could still taste the flavour of these spices. Price is reasonable comparing to other skewer places. The sauce was really flavourful so definitely order it on the side. I would come back again. However, I would still only recommend this place to people who have strong stomaches and used to have Sichuan food.
