I don’t recommend the 10km trail this time of year. Too many clouds of flies. Good thing we wore masks

Stunning evening views a great walk no matter the time of year. Great for bird watching.
It’s not just a lake it’s more, it’s an evening and morning walk. It’s to get connected back to yourself. You can see common birds here , water as well tree birds. You also can spot some raptors like bald eagle, falcon etc. Sometimes you can see cranes or flight of cranes too. If want to get more connected with these little souls you can try to feed them on your Palm , look on my photos. But if you wanna do that I suggest you to wear clothing near to the color of nature and don’t wear flashy mask on face if you’re wearing one. You can sometimes see water sports. You can also see butterflies but in season at the nature park area. Washroom mostly clean but only two. Dog friendly trails Parking limited
Great area to enjoy nature and get some exercise! Can easily get your 10,000 daily steps in :). Such a lovely stroll that I forgot to take pictures. Lots of wildlife as well (ducks, birds, Garter snakes [which are harmless and usually hiding], butterflies, etc.). One thing that could improve is signage - some trails didn’t even have any. Before you go (if you’ve never been) make sure to look up where the parking lots are located as Google maps does not always take you to the right spot.
