It is impossible to get someone on the phone. I've called 2 different days, on different weeks, to no avail. View My Bill page was changed, without warning or information. Haven't gotten my bill ever since because it's asking me for information I do not have. Much rather not have to deal with people, but I can't get my bills. Frustrating!!

Penny at customer support was very nice and looked after me. She was clear and very helpful making sure I was looked after. Only reason for not getting a 5 is because she had to fix a mistake that a previous employee had made that almost had my service stopped. Everything got worked out though. Yes hydro is expensive.. this is life.

No service in the evening. No service on weekends. If you work a typical 9-5 you cannot contact them by phone. If they disconnect you they only reconnect on specific days and do not make exceptions. You'd think for something as essential as power the company would have some measure of accessibility daily, nevermind in the evenings when statically people have time to get these things done. Currently without power without a single person I can talk to as to why for presumably the weekend, all because I happen to work during the time that they need you to contact them without. Pathetic. See that 2 star rating? You gotta work to get those kinds numbers. With all the fake / employee reviews boosting their average they still only manage a 2. I'll revert this rating if I'm actually contacted about this issue, and when they resolve to broaden communications outside of this stupidly strict window.

I just moved to Burlington in Dec and called Burlington Hydro to set up my account. They were courteous, easy to contact and efficient. No issues whatsoever. I spoke with Christina on two occasions and then with Ann on the third time and it was all good each time.
