Our daughter loves it here! The staff are very friendly and professional and take time to get to know us as regulars. We are new to Burlington, and this is a great recreational setting for children under 12. Thank you BGC for a great experience!

My daughter is enrolled in the Parent & Tot 1 class (16-24 months), which is an hour long. The class is way too long for this age group, it's hard for the kids to stay focused. There are many parts of the class that are too difficult for this group (i.e. uneven bars). I don't think this is tailored to an appropriate level for this age group. We will be finishing up the session by only going for 1/2hr but will not be signing up for a second session for a few years.

This looks like a nice club. Instructors are teenagers who obviously do their best to teach the kids. But I feel they lack that personal touch towards each kid that is needed when teaching young kids. Many times I noticed them telling the kids what the next move will be without even looking at the kids and when the kids start practicing they don't always pay attention to each kids. I feel maybe the focus is more on competitive kids already, but I also feel the pool of competitive kids is fed from the recreational ones, so more focus need to be on them, fixing their techniques, cheering them, motivating the., and not just doing a job for the sake of having a job

Would give it a 5 star but there carpets still have a strong odour of athletes foot after they renovated.

I wouldn't say it is priced very well like some of the comments on here. For the 12 weeks (hours) I felt my children were just going to play. Instructors are pretty disengaged and we never felt our child was progressing anywhere since the last program. Focus on certain areas to improve on would have been beneficial, however it seemed as though the instructors aren't even looking at the kids when giving direction. It was more as though they were just doing it for the sake of it, and not for the concern of the child. 4th year, my kids still want to join but we have told them no, they need to pick something else. There is a difference between goining to play... and going to learn.
