After struggling for the past few years to keep up with my mounting bills, the pandemic made it impossible. I made the decision to seek some sound advice on how to probably deal with this very stressful situation. While coming to this conclusion I was very gun shy about making this call, with the stigma it carries. From the initial phone call I couldn't have been happier. I was treated with respect, dignity and professionalism. The caring nature with which my situation was dealt with during this process was amazing. Hats off to Erez and the entire team at Faber. I recently conducted services with the Farber ( Burlington ) location. At the time, I was extremely nervous, uneasy and anxious about the entire process. Once I gathered everything needed to complete my service request, I started my process and had so many anxious moments wondering what exactly would come of this decision I made. The decision I had to forgo was a big step in changes for the better. I was losing sleep at night thinking about the process and the outcome to be. However, I was assigned a Trustee by the name of \ Sonya \. I cannot express how much Sonya truly showed sympathy towards my process. Sonya always took the time to assist me with any questions, concerns and further analysis of my entire financial claim. I recently saw Sonya last week where she- once again - took the time to sit down with me and assure that what I was processing was correct. Previously, I was going to process incorrectly filed documents which ultimately could of ruined me financially. However, Sonya's dedication to customer care and empathy to her clients, left me leaving the office joyful of my future and financial obligations. I would not hesitate to request Sonya for any financial services conducted at Farber & Farber- Burlington. Thanks again Sonya!

This team is amazing! I was hesitant at first, because it sounded too good to be true. Sonya was absolutely amazing from the get-go. My situation was very embarrassing, I was so stressed out and Sonya was so understanding, and not judgemental at all. She went over everything with me, and gave me all of my options. I decided on the consumer proposal. Because of my situation and my bank, my process was in limbo for quite some some (not because of Farber). They were so great, stayed in communication with me regarding updates, when more information was needed, etc. My proposal was rejected by the bank twice, but Sonya is so good at her job that an extra piece of information got them to accept!! I am so beyond relieved and happy...and so incredibly thankful to Sonya and the whole team. If you are hesitant on going through them like I was....just do it! We came to Farber after hearing their radio ads and feeling right about them. Ever since we called for the first time we were treated with so much empathy. Being in debt and not knowing how to pay is so stressful but once we met with Sonya Strand we were given so much hope that there was a way out. She handled our case and presented all the options in the most human way. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the process of filing a consumer proposal.
