I purchased a pair of shoes in February 2021 from the COUGAR SHOES CANADA website. They were too big so i contacted customer service and was told I would need to pay for the return back to them and then reorder the smaller size. I would like to comment that in this unprecedented time, we have been forced to turn to online shopping for a majority of purchases and the fact that COUGAR CANADA does not provide free returns - like almost every other BIG BRAND name company or at least a cheaper alternative like a 5 flat rate is not only bad business practice but TERRIBLE customer service. My return cost me 12.00 !! I will never purchase from your website again and i can pretty much guarantee never to buy a COUGAR product in stores in the future either. You might not care about one person's opinion or feedback but every single purchase contributes to your bottom line. I hope you take my feedback into consideration as i have been a long time COUGAR shoes customer for my entire family. Lastly, please do not send me a lame, standard generic 'sorry to hear about your experience email. They do more damage than good...honestly

Purchased online boots for my son, they are not true to size and fit much bigger. Please read the return policy before purchasing anything from their website. In order to send them back I gave to pay for the shipment. Never again.
Kid boots I bought completely fell apart. I was shocked ! contacted the company and they sent a replacement pair . They sent a different style that didn't fit, kinda weird but in the end they sent the original style in a size bigger so my kid could get boots for another season . What great customer service !
Love cougars but they are misleading. They claim they are made in Canada but they are made in China and Vietnam. I'm very disappointed with this. Can't you make these in Canada from start to finish. I was going to buy a pair off tsc but saw where they were made. Made in China it said but the host from cougar said they were made in Canada. False advertising.
Bought a pair of cougar winter boots for my daughter, its light, cozy and warm last 2 winters until she outgrown it. I tried other popular brand and is now back looking for other cougar winter boots for her. Only the best for my girl!!
They dont have a large mens selection but I have 2 of their boots and I love them. Warm, stylish, very comfortable, and they do exactly what is advertised. I dont know who rated them so low. Personally, I wish they would make more styles for men. Best of all it's made in Canada, something not many Canadian companies can say.
Worst customer service...rude. Never sent a confirmation after purchase. Hard to contact (could take 10 days). Returns are difficult and tedious. Never again.
