My experiences having lived here for four years: Bob MacRae, General Manager totally disregards the laws set down by the Landlord Tenant Act. He has entered my apartment without warning on a many different occasions and the police say they can do nothing because I have no proof. Over four years ago I reported to him, by email, my stove not working and nothing has been done to date. Then I reported both these complaints to Bob Bosworth, president of the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club (who built and runs BP) multiple times and he has done nothing. When MacRae saw this review he was furious and unsuccessfully tried to evict me, accusing me of slander. Update 12/17 FINALLY AND VERY THANKFULLY Bob MacRae is no longer our building manager!! Update 7/18 Our new bldg manager, this year demanded that all tenants must pay a fee for the use of our air conditioners. I received emails and letters from him, even after I told him that I was advised that I didn’t have to pay this fee as I did not sign anything promising that I would. Since I, like some others, never signed a lease or any agreement promising to pay this fee, our local government legal office advised that I don’t have to pay this fee. I personally have little respect for the Rotary Club as they are responsible for hiring the people employed to manage Bonnie Place l and ll and have ignored the years of email complaints against Bob Macrae of what I consider to be the mistreatment of this senior community.
