Built Climate Control (BCC) had been retained by the Corporation (MTCC 971) to optimize the operations of the 290 ton chiller in our highrise building. BCC carried out logging of the chiller operations hour-by-hour of its baseline performance against weather data and load profiles for the full cooling season (around 5 months). The summary report provided the optimum parameters for running the chiller and the associated energy savings, and assisted us in identifying performance issues. Beyond the mandate of the audit engagement, BCC provided advice on absorption cooling options which could make effective use of the heat generated by additions to our Combined Heat and Power system. Our entire interaction with BCC during the process of chiller assessment has been quite informative and professional. We have no hesitation in recommending the services provided by BCC towards optimizing operation of HVAC systems.
