I recently took my restricted and non-restricted firearms courses. Tom instructed for both courses and was a fun and knowledgeable instructor. I highly recommend Buckeye for anyone looking to get their firearms license.

I went to the cabin with my sister and our partners for our non-restricted and restricted courses. Tom made a long day of studying enjoyable and he was a genuinely good teacher. He made sure the important stuff stuck and had alot of helpful analogies and real world examples. He was timely and efficient while still ensuring we had the knowledge not just to pass but to be good safe gun owners. I highly recommend Buckeye Firearms Training.

I went to the CFSC and CRFSC and had zero knowledge and very minimal experience with firearms. Detlef was my instructor and he was fantastic! By the end of the non-restricted course I felt I had a well-rounded understanding of the development of the rifle, the safest way to handle a firearm and how to care and maintain it. Detlef not only gave clear explanations, but he also reiterated some of the more technical terms into his own words which made remembering it much easier once the time came for the written and practical tests and onward from that. Taking the restricted course was extremely interesting as well since handguns are quite different from rifles. Also, it wasn't nearly as intimidating as I expected it to be. This experience was incredible and I would recommend this facility to anyone interested in firearms training even if you aren't sure about owning a firearm right away. It's great knowledge to have and if you get Detlef as an instructor even better! Although I'm sure the other instructors are just as incredible :)
