What a wonderful place to start the month of September. I came here because I remembered how not everyone is as healthy as myself, not everyone has the privilege to be able to provide blood and blood plasma for the people who need it the most. I learned a lot today from the nurses on the entire process, which is exciting, they are very open to explaining every single detail I wanted to hear and see. I was made aware that they are in need for blood plasma, not just blood. They've only reached 20% of their goal and they want to reach 30%, I believe that's more than doable if we all make the decision to take time out of our day to make a good deed - wouldn't you want people to donate blood plasma or blood if you were the patient in desperate need? I definitely would and I'd be grateful for that person's existence and their action of giving out of free will. I will be coming back as much as I can as I loved the experience and the end result it brings in living the experience, I even felt a rush, sort of a high after I was finished, which is thrilling. Thank you so much for your services and the knowledge you provided!

As per the request made by the PM today, I went to donate blood and arrived at 17:10 (closes at 18:00). there were five people waiting outside and I was informed that it was already closed for today. These are very difficult times and it doesn’t make any sense to dismiss donors just because you have to close at 18:00. To be able to get there in time, I left my job early and I'll not take that risk again, I'll go donate elsewhere.

*** AVOID*** I donate blood because I care, but apparently this center's staff doesn't care about your health and wellbeing. I've been donating blood for ten times, so far this was the most careless and incompetent staff that I've ever been with. The tourniquet isn't tight enough to see the blood vein, the staff jokingly marked a circle with the back of her Pilote pen to ID the vein, which I can honestly can't see the slightest detail other than my ordinary skin. Here comes the fun part, the staff went underneath my skin with the needle POKED AND WIGGLED several times while it was still under my skin, the staff doesn't seem to get it that the vein was never properly identified, only got a rough knowledge about its location from past needle hole marks, this INCOMPETENCE resulted a massive hemorrhage for more than a week long. Good job on losing a donor forever.

Les mesures de protection à prendre durant la pandémie COVID-19 était clair et simple à suivre. Le don de sang s’est fait rapidement et tout le monde était très agréable.
Beaucoup trop de mesures en cette période de pandémie. On a pris ma température 3 fois et on m'a obligé à me laver les mains 13 fois. C'est démesuré ! De plus comble du malheur, j'ai seulement pu donner 10% d'un sac de sang . L'infirmière m'a mal piqué, et ça aurait fait coaguler , donc empêché le sang de sortir. J'ai demandé à l'infirmière ainsi qu'à la responsable de l'équipe de me piquer l'autre bras... mais elles ont refusé. C'était mon 25 ième don de sang et mon dernier avant un bon bout de temps. TROP c'est TROP.
