Can be a nasty hill depending on the load you're carrying or weather. Even in June it can be dense fog/cloud and SNOW ;) Never had an issue yet travelling thru. (knock on wood). one day I might take the time to hike area but overall it's a great picnic/rest area depending on seasonal weather
