I would give Brierwood Gardens 6 stars if I had that option. My 90 year old mother has been a resident since February this year. She and her late husband had been resistant to a move to a retirement home but his declining health and a fall that resulted in a broken wrist for my Mom made the move necessary. From the moment we met Kim, our gracious tour guide and sales consultant, my family had a good feeling about Brierwood Gardens. The entire staff is amazing and doing an exceptional job in keeping their residents safe, comfortable and happy in these difficult times of Covid 19. My Mom says she has top marks for all the staff at Brierwood. She says she is eating and sleeping well and enjoying the recreational activities. The food she says is excellent, and she is a very picky eater. She is very content and happy in her new home. If you are looking for a retirement home for your loved one, I highly recommend Brierwood Gardens. My sister and I are also content in knowing that our Mom is being well looked after there and are grateful to all the staff for the care she is receiving.

am so happy that we, as a family, picked the right place for my Mom and know that she's been taken care off. Its hard enough not be able to take care of your loved one any know that she is at a good home with staff who try and do there best.
As a resident of Brierwood Gardens Retirement Home, I feel qualified to post an opinion. It took me a few weeks to feel comfortable in my new surroundings. However, the exceptional staff soon become your new friends and go over and beyond what is expected of them. The rooms are very comfortable and are kept very clean. The meals are very healthy and the kitchen staff always attempts to satisfy your needs and wants. The grounds are very beautiful and very well groomed, like living in a park. There are always birds and squirrels making their homes here too. The Recreation staff offer a variety of activities, such as Fitness Classes and numerous social events. You can be as busy or as lazy as you want, it is up to you. Also, there is also the spiritual needs of residents. As a Roman Catholic, I very much appreciate the weekly service. I went with my grandma recently to look at this home. Beautiful home. I liked that the staff and that sales lady made us feel very welcome! The reason I am giving it a 4 is because we wanted to meet some of the management, including the director of the home. While we were walking, someone tried to introduce us to her. She stopped and said she didn’t have time to meet with us. She didn’t even try to know our names. Then she walked away. My grandma felt really stupid and hurt. I hope this director isn’t like that to everyone..
Everything here is wonderful. I never thought I could leave my apartment and find another home that I loved, however here I am at Brierwood Gardens Retirement Home. I love everyone here, they are so nice and friendly and helpful. I find the meals to be wonderful as well. The other great thing about this Retirement Home is that I love showing it off to my friends in the apartments and my family members. I have no complaints. I love it here.
