First the good, the staff is friendly and teachers are good. Overall pleasant experience. They do tend to oversell the Belt exams and merchandise a lot. But while you are doing in class sessions the experience was by and large good. Once the pandemic hit they adapted like most others, where they were bad was if you wanted to cancel the class, the staff calling to schedule online classes would tell you to call office, you call office no one picks up. Eventually we ended up not using couple of months that we had paid in advance. So be careful and avoid paying in advance as chances of getting your money back is slim as you just cant speak to anyone who has authority to even discuss a refund forget processing it.

We started our son at AMA to help him learn more focus and burn off his very energetic nature. Ever since starting in September he has made a significant improvement in his school environment by listening to his teacher and friends more and being able to focus on his school work and remain seated for longer than a minute at a time. We are extremely grateful to the AMA family for welcoming us and putting our concerns first when it comes to our Son. If you are looking for somewhere to make new friends or just a place to focus on you I highly recommend you give AMA a call.

My daughter and I started training at AMA last spring, and it has been a truly rewarding and incredible experience. The dojo is full of friendly, happy, cooperative and helpful staff and members. It is honestly the best martial arts training location and experience I have ever had. My daughter and I were so glowing in our recommendation that my wife has since joined and she agrees with our sentiments.

What an amazing experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with smiles and friendly faces. Everyone is so nice and helpful and always there to answer any questions you have. From Mike and Carrie who were amazing via email picking out the right class for my son with ASD to Jackie at the front desk who is so sweet to all the kids. Every instructor we have met has been so upbeat, cheerful, smiles and laughter. In only three months they have taught my son And now my daughter as well so many new skills. I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in signing up themselves or there children. If I could give more then five stars I 100% would. Thank you thank you.

I started doing Tai Chi at the Brampton Academy of Martial Arts (AMA) in February 2012 and started training in karate in February 2014. The instructors are quite knowledgeable in all facets of martial arts and physical training. The result is comprehensive instruction that encompasses not only the physical aspect of martial arts but also history and culture. And all the staff and students are friendly and cordial. It is a very family focused and caring organization. I can highly recommend the AMA for all age groups right up to 70. (I'm 66)
