Refused to honour warranty on Battery of my e100 lawn tractor. Owner Neil, said a lot of people were angry at him for insisting they bring in their machines to the dealership. After speaking to John Deere call Centre, I was told they couldn’t make the franchisee honour their warranty. I guess the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Luckily for me, without help from JD headquarters, I found a JD dealership who would honour the warranty. Will never set foot in a Green Tractor Dealership again.

Neil and Rob in Sales are always great to deal with, knowledgable and polite as are Bob and Matt in the service department, they have definitely got me out of a jam a few times. Andrew in Parts can always get what you need as well. I’ve read a few reviews of people who buy the cheap junk at Lowes and try to get free help when it doesn’t work out. You should have gone to the Green Tractors in the first place!

Bought a new John Deere lawn tractor. Was promised that it was in perfect condition. Paid for delivery and was dead on arrival. John Deere says that they will replace free of charge (it is just a dead battery). Got run around from 8 different people now. The local dealer who said \I don't have to honor the warranty if I don't want to\. That is the exact wording of what the John Deere dealer (Neil the manager / owner) said to me - I wrote it down. I even offered to have someone drop off the dead battery and swap it for a new one but was told that I had to pay them another charge for pick up and delivery. Absolutely horrible customer service all around! Now I'm going to file a suit in Small Claims Court and include all of my damages. Disgusting service and stupid business.
