We passed by this bbq joint a few times and was always curious how the food was. While returning from a trip, we decided to drop by. On that particular day, there was only one option: Smoked Brisket Combo for 25. Thus, we went with that. The gentleman proceeded to grab a tinfoil-covered hunk of brisket out of the smoker and tore out some meat. The Brisket is very tender and the addition of Chipotle sauce made it very tasty. The mashed potatoes are as good as any that I have had. The corn was very nicely cooked and popped on biting. The kiddos tore into the bread so I never had a chance to try any. By their motivation, I assume they were good. Will deifnitely drop by if we are in the area.
Very friendly staff. Beans were bland, mash potatoes were ok, "brisket" was a roast. Sourdough bread was the best part

We stopped for a quick snack and were impressed. The staff are friendly and the business has a unique personality that is hard to find these days. The bison smokie was really good!
09-17-2020 Twenty dollars (cash only, no change offered) for a sub-par beef smokie, 1/3 of a cob of corn, and a half ladle of beans. Never again.
