An amazing day and introduction to fly fishing. Clint has a wealth of information and a genuine enthusiasm to impart it, along with a passion for wildlife habitat and conservation. I enjoyed every minute. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Clint at Valley Fishing Guides was extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain how he reads the water, the insect population, the time of day/weather, etc. I couldn't have gotten a more knowledgeable and well-rounded guide. I landed 8 fish my first day of fly fishing, which can all be credited to Clint and his teaching technique, plus knowledge of the rivers in Squamish. Also Valley Fishing Guides have the best gear from the rod to the leads, to the flies/nemphs and waders/boots. I was dry, happy and catching fish the whole time.

Awesome day with Clint today. I've been with a few of the guides in the area and Clint is the gold standard. He is very knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher. Clint knows the local area, the fish and the right flies. I won't tell you where we went....but Clint knows the best places to get the fish. Looking forward to another day on the river with Clint.

My Wife and I wanted to go out for a 1/2 day, have some fun and learn about some local spots, local fish and some new technique. Clint was perfect for it all. He was very safety conscious, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly, fun to be with on the water. We are pretty much beginners and he was happy to take it at our pace answer any and all questions and provide the perfect amount of feedback. It was a great day and we will be recommending him to all.

Very happy with experience. Travelled from Australia to experience BC fly fishing. Despite a heat wave and challenging conditions, Clint adapted to provide my friend and I with an excellent day on the rivers, catching many fish (even my friend, despite this being his first time holding a fly rod!), including large bull and rainbow trout.
