Bowen Island, Canada
1666 Tunstall Blvd

Tunstall Bay is a lovely family-friend neighbourhood on the west-side of Bowen. At the bottom of the hill, you’ll find the local beach. It’s a beautiful spot to swim or enjoy sunset. If you are visiting the island, please be mindful that there is limited parking. If there is not enough parking, please head to another beach. There is a boat ramp through the parking lot, hugging the left side of the road. Please do not block it.

Great beach to take in some sun and goid vibes all afternoon. The small Translink bus takes you there if you ask the driver stop by.
visited this place in March but I believe it's a heaven all four seasons
This is a beautiful location for sunsets, the water is cold but once you are in its all good.
Beautiful clean beach!
Great place for a swim.
Nice beach when it's sunny. Great sailing club.
This is a review of the (west side) beach. ] This gorgeous, sheltered beach can be accessed by car, bike or bus. At times it is busy, and other days we have had the beach to ourselves. When folks are there, it is fun to watch people kayaking, swimming and picnicking. There are 'rustic' but totally functional washroom facilities (bring Purel :) I do not recommend it for ones with mobility issues, as there is a small incline down from the parking to the beach area. Other beaches on Bowen Island are flat. Our favorite thing to do is pack a blanket, some pate, cheese and crackers, fruit, prosecco...and watch the sunsets that are truly breathtaking. It is a short ferry ride home to be back to work/life the next day but you will feel as if you have had a mini holiday! Bowen Island has some cute shops, restaurants, artisans and a riot of fabulous scenery if you feel like kicking around a bit longer during the day...
