Shopping at Bombay was my worst shopping experience. Manager was a disgrace for any store and business. I buy a bed, at time of purchase I was told that bed is in stock and will be delivered within one week time. Later after one week on inquiry I was told that it will be delivered in October, as it is not in the stock. On my request to cancel the order, I was immediately told by the Manager that they have a bed, which will be delivered to me today (same day), and they delivered me a bed which was damaged and repaired. Later on my contact, manager asked me on phone that he can adjust the price or can replace the damaged pieces till October. That totally shattered my trust in the store and the management. The extreme customer relationship/service took place when I again asked them to cancel the order because I am not satisfied with the product, I was told that the product sent to me was not damaged and has been damaged by me. I went to their store along with my wife and kid and cancelled the order and later also cancelled their credit card because in my opinion this store does not worth to be visited again. The delivery expenses paid by me were also not refunded. I am still in shock that this is happening in Canada.

I visited the Hyde Park location in Oakville this morning and had an extremely negative interaction with the Assistant Manager at approximately 11AM on the 9th Nov 2017.I was there to return a gift and the assistant Manager’s behaviour was not friendly or customer oriented. I quoted the return policy that I had checked online before going to the store which clearly states that the store will offer the lowest sale price on returns without receipt . She at first completely refused the return and the when I referred to the refund policy as posted in the store she did not even scan the merchandise just offered 15.00 plus tax as store credit as she quoted that it also states that the store can refuse returns as per the store discretion.This shows a lack of integrity showed by an employee representing a brand name. Really disappointed with the commitment to customer experience.
I visited the Hyde Park location in Oakville last Saturday and had an extremely negative interaction with the staff on the 11 Aug, 2018.I was there to shopping and the staff's behavior was not friendly or customer oriented. During whole shopping time, two of associates never had any smile with bad attitude . And also when i asked their name in order to complain to manager or head office , they told me it was personal privacy and could't tell me . It is rediclious that retail sales can't provide name to you for personal privacy , would they not to provide if i am going to say good thing about it to their manager? There was a lack of integrity showed by an employee representing a brand name. I can't believe it was happened in Canada and in retail store . I strongly recommended that never , ever go to this location . There are few terrible staffs and bad customer service .
The store is quiet which makes for good shopping and has a big selection. The thing is I find the store a bit messy and hard to envision items and decide because they have many decorations in one spot.
I really enjoyed browsing the nice collection of fancy furniture
Everything is 30% off and it looks like people are buying. It's a real shame that this fantastic store is closing.
I have order a sofa on July 21st and told was told it will arrived on 12 weeks and it been more and when I ask they tell me they have no clue where is the sofa very bad custômer service.. Don’t know what to do!!
