I had a leak in my Toro Tecumseh snowblower gas tank and needed a seal for the feed tube. I confirmed that they had in stock by phone. Upon arrival I again described what I needed and with no model number etc the guy went to the back and returned with a zip lock bag of generic seals. His price was 15.00 for a tiny rubber seal! I said it sounds kinda expensive and that LAWNMOWER HOSPITAL had it for 1/2 that price. He said “then don’t buy it”. Another St Albert Business that preys on its citizens and “rewards” them for shopping locally. I did take that pos as I was already there. I returned home and looked online and these are shipped FREE straight from china in packages of 10. This guy,likely the owner, couldn’t care less about the people that come in, and I’m sure most of his business is ALL FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS. Tip: do your research for ANY part you need. Next: Drive to LAWNMOWER HOSPITAL, that person there was very helpful. - - - - In his response the Owner has confused his facts a little (no worries) but....instead of a long winded EXCUSE why don’t you NOT GOUGE / NICKEL AND DIME people? 30 min out of your workday to write your excuses, and all that business ??? Excellent multitasking ...or more straight up bogus. Since absolutely EVERYTHING in this place is more expensive than ANYPLACE other, and the owner has a TRAIN WRECK ATTITUDE, just go to Home Depot for better value - or for great attitude and service try .... anywhere else. Skip this little HACK SHOP OF HORRORS!

We come here every year to trade our skates! Love the old school home business. Ill be taking my grandpas recliner lift chair remote in tomorrow to get it soldered. Nothing he cant fix. :)
Dropped off my leaf blower for a tune up , great service with next day pick up...... It runs like a champ. As a bonus they do skate sharpening which allowed one stop shopping A great St. Albert gem !
Had my mother’s steam cleaner for over 2 months. First 2 weeks - needed a part. 3rd week, they sent the wrong part. Week 4 she called for an update and he snapped at her, demanding he will call when it’s ready for pick up. As he needed to reorder it. Week 5, 6, 7 etc.... nothing. It was October 30 over 2 months since the initial “repair”. I call for a status update, he was rude off the bat, said my mom needed to order the part and he’s been waiting for her to do so. What a joke. I told him I’ll be picking up the steam cleaner the following day and he says “please do”. What an interesting way of conducting a business.
I had a lawn trimmer that would start and run at idle only. Took it to BJ's for repair. That was in July. It wasn't they were unable to get to immediately, fine. Gave approval for repairs and left them to it. Wasn't ready until August. Brought it home, and it ran 5 minutes, and quit, with gas seeping out of the carburetor, so returned it to BJs. He said no problem, he will fix it again, which he did at no charge...but it was a month later! ( with the understanding that I was going away). When I went to pick it up again, there was gas spilling from the carburetor, and it actually made a puddle of gas on his counter, so I left it with them. I have since picked it up again, and it does appear to be working fine, but I have only got one use of it, as it was November. We will see how it does in the spring.
